Overview
Thursday 3/10/2019 (from 10am for an estimated 10 hours) the storage cluster software and operating systems underpinning Cinder volumes in the monash-01 availability zone of the Research Cloud will be upgraded.
Impact
No outage is required, however there may be minor disruptions to client IO on monash-01 volumes. This may manifest as block IO timeouts to instances attempting to write or read volumes.
Action
If you experience any ongoing IO issues please report them to support.
