Overview
Thursday 6/5/2021 (from 9am for an estimated 10 hours) the storage cluster software underpinning instance disks and Cinder volumes in the monash-02 availability zone of the Research Cloud will be upgraded.
Impact
No outage is required, however there may be minor disruptions to client IO on monash-02 volumes and instance disks. This may manifest as block IO timeouts when attempting to write or read instance disks.
Action
If you experience any ongoing IO issues please report them to support.
