Overview
Monash-01 AZ volume storage cluster software underpinning Cinder volumes will be upgraded to next major software version on 11th May 2022, between 9:00am to 7:00pm. This upgrade is necessary to ensure the storage software is compatible with the newer operating system.
Impact
No outage is required, however there may be minor disruptions to client IO on monash-01 volumes. This may manifest as block IO timeouts when attempting to write or read from the volumes.

If you experience any ongoing IO issues after the upgrade please report to support@ehelp.edu.au
