The Research Data Storage Infrastructure (RDSI) project used Federal NCRIS (National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy) funding to provide data storage infrastructure with the aim of strengthening Australia's capabilities in data intensive research and data intensive research collaboration.  The infrastrucure was distributed across eight high capacity Nodes run by a number of organisations.  These organisation continue to run the national infrastructure and services funded by the Research Data Services (RDS) project.
