Overview
On Tuesday 27/6/17 (from 10:30am for approximately 4 hours) the storage cluster software underpinning Cinder volumes in the monash-01 availability zone of the Research Cloud will be upgraded.
Impact
During this time there may be minor disruptions to client IO on monash-01 volumes. This may manifest as block IO timeouts to instances attempting to write or read volumes.
Action
If you experience any ongoing IO issues please report them to support.
Resolution
The upgrade was completed successfully (at 12:30pm) with no interruption to service.
