Overview
This Wednesday 22/11/17 (from 9am for an estimated 4 hours) the storage cluster software underpinning Cinder volumes in the monash-01 availability zone of the Research Cloud will be upgraded.
Impact
No outage is required, however there may be minor disruptions to client IO on monash-01 volumes. This may manifest as block IO timeouts to instances attempting to write or read volumes.
Action
If you experience any ongoing IO issues please report them to support.

Upgrade was completed Thursday afternoon at approximately 6pm.
