Dear Monash Research Cloud User,    

We are upgrading the DB cluster softwares as part of the requirement together with OpenStack controller upgrade.   

Affected availability zone: monash-03  
Upgrade Period: 10:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m,  Thursday, 17th of September 2020
Components:
- mariadb galera cluster
- nova controller upgrade to OpenStack Train release

We do not anticipate any disruptions to the existing instances. However, there may be some pause to nova and dashboard related service to the new and existing instances (such as nova create, nova reboot, etc). You may experience some delays in operations to complete, or halted for a smaller time period.
