Steps to amend, renew or extend your allocation
If you have an existing allocation, you can amend, renew or extend it by following these steps:
- Log in to the Nectar Dashboard.
- In the menu, navigate to Allocations / My Requests.
- On the right, next to the allocation you would like to update, click Amend/Extend allocation.
- This will take you to a form titled Edit Allocation Request, where you can complete or edit the project details. If you have not previously connected your ORCID, you will be required to do this before proceeding.
- Please review each step in the form carefully, as some questions may have changed since your previous application. Pay special attention to the steps highlighted below: Add Research Grant Information, and Publication/Output and Impact, and Cloud resources.
- Address any issues in the Review Reminders section, if shown. After reviewing the allocation form, click the Submit button.
Add Research Grant Information, and Publication/Output and Impact
Please list any publication outputs from your research and any research grants supported by this project allocation. This helps us justify continuing to provide this service.
Cloud resources
If your project is expiring earlier than the expiry date due to Service Budget usage, consider selecting a larger Resource Bundle or select a custom set of resources, using the Custom Resource Bundle. For information on what's included in each Resource Bundle, please view the Resource Bundle Table. If you are using a Custom Resource Bundle, we recommend you read our support articles on Understanding your Service Unit Usage and How to estimate a Service Unit Budget.
What about my individual account/login?
Your individual account will become inactive if you haven't logged into the Nectar Dashboard for 6 months. To reactivate it, simply log into the Nectar Dashboard. Note: this is only in relation to your individual account, if you have a Cloud project and resources, the expiry process for this is outlined in our project allocation expiry and renewal document.
