Please be aware there will be a scheduled outage in the Pawsey availability zone of the NeCTAR Research Cloud:

Duration: 72 hours
Start Time: 16:00 AWST Fri May 20th 2016
End Time: 16:00 AWST Mon May 23rd 2016

This outage is required to allow scheduled power works to be performed at the Pawsey facility on Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd of May. As the full weekend is potentially required for the work to take place, we will be shutting down all systems in the Pawsey AZ on the afternoon of the day before. Once power has been restored, we will commence bringing systems back up on the morning of Monday the 23rd of May, so systems will most likely not be fully restored until that afternoon.

All instances and storage volumes hosted in the Pawsey AZ will be unavailable during this time.

Prior to this outage, can anyone with instances hosted in the Pawsey AZ please ensure that your data is backed up and your instances shut down (you do not need to terminate them). Once the Pawsey AZ is restored, please start your instances back up from the dashboard.

We apologise for the inconvenience and will restore all services as soon as possible.
