Once you have contacted the helpdesk to discuss your request, if approved, you can apply for a Nectar allocation for training/teaching purposes.
Please note, it takes up to 3-4 weeks for an allocation request to be reviewed and approved. You will have tenant manager responsibilities for the project you receive. Within the project on the Nectar Dashboard, you can grant students access in the Project / Users tab.
You may also launch instances on the students' behalf, and share access with students, via our tutorial here. You may also wish to launch applications via our applications catalogue, for example R-studio. Through this method, you can also take responsibility for ensuring that any teaching instances and images are properly managed; e.g. by keeping them patched and / or terminating them when the training ends.
